Ingredients for 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Bites
With just a few simple ingredients, you’ll have delicious snack bites ready in minutes.
- Rolled Oats – may use quick-cook oats. Use gluten free certified if needed.
- Peanut Butter – use natural creamy peanut butter for best results. May substitute sunflower seed butter for a nut-free recipe.
- Honey – may use honey or maple syrup
How to make these 3 ingredient bites
- Add the oats to a food processor or blender. Process or blend until oats reach a flour consistency.
- Next add the peanut butter and honey or maple syrup. Process or blend until ingredients are well combined and come together to form a dough ball. May need to scrape sides once or twice.
- Roll into round bites – about a scant tablespoon per bite. If dough isn’t holding together, add 1-2 tablespoons more of peanut butter.
- If dough starts to stick to hands, oil them with coconut oil or cooking spray.

Give ’em a boost of protein if you wish
For a boost of protein, you can replace 1/4 cup of the oats for 1/4 cup of protein powder. We like to use Primal Kitchen Unflavored Collagen Peptides. This protein powder won’t change the flavor of the 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Bites and it’s a great way to sneak in a boost of protein. For a whey or plant-based protein powder, try one these below:
Double the batch because these bites are freezer-friendly!
Thus recipes is simple to make, made with less than 10 real food ingredients, is meal ‘prep-able’, freezer-friendly and takes just a few minutes of your time. Awesome, right?! Make them nut-free with one simple substitution
We do our best to create recipes for ALL to enjoy! So if you have a nut-allergy, whether it be peanuts or tree nuts, you can simply substitute sunflower seed butter for the peanut butter in this recipe. It will give the bites a little bit different of a taste, but they’ll still be delicious nonetheless.
It’s time to give these PB Bites a try! Best of all, there’s a good chance you have all 3 ingredients on hand!

Your recipe mentions being freezer friendly, but I am not finding any information on how long they will actually last in the freezer (assuming they last that long with as delicious as they are said to be). Do you have any information on how long they will keep in the freezer?
