HOW TO MAKE

Small cucumbers (such as Persian) Cold water Distilled white vinegar Kosher salt  Garlic cloves Cane sugar (optional) Black peppercorns Fresh dill 

Prepare the cucumbers by slicing them into spears or rounds.

STEP  ONE

Make the brine by simmering water, vinegar, optional sugar and salt.

STEP TWO

Add dill and garlic to at the bottom of a mason jar then add cucumber spears or rounds.

STEP THREE

Fill the jar to the brim with the prepared brine.

STEP FOUR

Refrigerate for 24 hours.

STEP FIVE

Pickles will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Serve them with burgers, sandwiches, in tuna salad or enjoy them straight from the jar.
