GRILLED PORK BURGERS

with Creamy Thai Slaw

FOR THE BURGERS: - unseasoned ground pork - green onions - garlic cloves - jalapeño - fresh ginger - fresh basil or cilantro - coconut aminos - lime zest - pepper & salt

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE SLAW: - shredded cabbage - shredded carrots - red bell pepper - green onions - fresh basil or cilantro - chopped nuts

CREAMY THAI DRESSING: - peanut butter (or almond butter - coconut aminos - lime juice - toasted sesame oil - garlic clove - fresh ginger - red pepper flakes - salt

INGREDIENTS

preheat grill to 425-450 degrees. In a bowl, combine all burger ingredients. Mix together and sharpe into 4 patties.

STEP 1:

Using your thumb, make a slight indentation in the middle of each pattie.

STEP 2:

Grill burgers for 9-10 minutes on one side, flip, grill another 5-8 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160 degrees.

STEP 3:

While burgers are grilling, prepare the slaw. Place all slaw ingredients in bowl. In a small bowl whisk together dressing ingredients. Toss dressing into slaw.

STEP 4:

To serve, place burgers on buns or lettuce wraps (Whole30). Top each burger with generous amount of slaw.

STEP 5:

Pork burgers are naturally tender and juicy and have a unique savory taste. Topping these burgers with slaw that's fresh and crunchy makes every bite so good!
