Peel and slice the apples. Mix them together with sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, and lemon juice. Let sit for 30 minutes.
Place apple slices in pie crust.
In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup flour, cinnamon, sugar, brown sugar, and cold butter. Mix until a crumble forms.
Evenly sprinkle crumb topping over apple pie filling.
Bake at 400 for 40-50 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
