Peanut butter apple crumble

For the Filling: apples arrowroot starch maple syrup cinnamon For the Crumble: peanut butter maple syrup rolled oats almond flour dry roasted peanuts sea salt coconut oil

INGREDIENTS

In a bowl toss the apples and arrowroot starch. Add the maple syrup and cinnamon, toss to coat. Spread evenly in an 8x8 baking dish.

STEP 1:

In a bowl combine the peanut butter and maple syrup. Add the rolled oats, almond flour, peanuts and salt. Mix together. Then add the solid coconut oil.

STEP 2:

Press the mixture evenly over the apple mixture. Bake for 25 minutes. Then tent the apple crisp loosely with foil to protect topping from burning, bake for 30 more minutes.

STEP 3:

Remove from oven, remove foil, let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

STEP 4:

Top with a drizzle of peanut butter, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or vanilla yogurt if desired.

STEP 5:
