homemade chocolate chip clif bars

+ sunflower seed butter + honey + pure vanilla + pinch of salt + crisp rice cereal + coconut shreds + raw sunflower seeds + mini chocolate chips

INGREDIENTS

In a saucepan over low heat, combine the sunflower seed butter, honey, vanilla, and salt. Stir constantly until melted together. 

STEP 1:

Pour into a large mixing bowl and stir in the crisp rice cereal. Chill for 10-15 minutes. Fold in the coconut, sunflower seeds, and mini chocolate chips. 

STEP 2:

Press the chilled mixture into a 9x13 baking dish lined with parchment paper. Press FIRMLY!

STEP 3:

Place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before cutting into 16 even bars. 

STEP 4:

For a thicker bar use an 11x7-inch or a 9x9-inch pan.

STEP 5:
