+ unsalted butter (vegan stick butter for non-dairy) + egg + vanilla + cane sugar + gluten-free flour blend + baking powder + fine salt

INGREDIENTS

Cream together the butter, egg, vanilla, and sugar.

STEP 1:

Add the flour blend, baking powder, and salt. Mix slowly until a dough ball forms.  Cover with a towel and chill for 1-2 hours.

STEP 2:

Sprinkle work space and rolling pin with flour. Place chilled ball of dough on flour, press down into a disc shape. Use rolling pin to roll dough out to 1/4-inch thickness.

STEP 3:

Use cookie cutters to cut the dough out into shapes. 

STEP 4:

Place on parchment-covered baking sheets and bake for 12 minutes. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
