Christmas Cookies

Topping: + cane sugar + cinnamon Cookie Batter: + unsalted butter + cane sugar + egg + pure maple syrup + molasses + gluten-free flour blend + cinnamon + allspice + cloves + baking soda + fine sea salt

INGREDIENTS

Cream together the sugar, butter, and egg. Add the maple syrup and molasses. Stir together.

STEP 1:

Add the flour, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, baking soda, and salt. Stir together.

STEP 2:

Scoop dough out by the spoonful (about 2 tablespoons) and roll between palms to make a ball.

STEP 3:

Roll each dough ball in the topping mixture of cinnamon and sugar to evenly coat.

STEP 4:

Place on a parchment-covered baking sheet and flatted slightly into a disc shape.

STEP 5:

These cookies will bake for 10-12 minutes and after cooling completely, they are so soft and chewy and simply the perfect Christmas cookie to share with family and friends.
