The Best Smothered Pork Chops

In a small bowl, combine all of the seasonings. Season both sides of the pork chops generously. Heat oil in a large pan. Brown the pork chops on both sides. Cover and set aside.

Add broth and sliced onion to the same pan. When the onions are cooked, sprinkle some flour in and stir. Add remaining broth. Simmer until thickened.

Return the pork chops to the skillet, tucking them into the gravy and spooning the onions over top. Continue to cook until the thickest part of the pork chops are done.

Garnish with fresh herbs. If desired, serve over mashed potatoes.
