Place onions in the bottom of the slow cooker, then add the seared beef roast chunks on top.

Combine tomato paste, mustard, vinegar, water, garlic powder, oregano, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, then pour over the beef and onions, cooking on LOW.

Shred the meat and mix it back into the slow cooker with the onions and sauce before serving.

For coleslaw, mix cabbage with a mayonnaise and vinegar dressing, seasoning to taste.
