grilled brussels sprouts with maple-mustard glaze

+ Brussels sprouts + maple syrup + Dijon mustard + olive oil + garlic clove + crushed red pepper flakes + black pepper + fine salt

INGREDIENTS

Steam the Brussels for 4-5 minutes using your preferred method. Thread the Brussels onto skewers and place on a baking sheet.

STEP 1:

In a bowl whisk together the maple syrup, mustard, oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper and salt.

STEP 2:

Set aside 1 tablespoon of glaze to be used later.

STEP 3:

Brush the glaze onto the skewered Brussels sprouts.

STEP 4:

Place the skewers directly on the grill grate and cook over direct heat for 2 minutes. Turn skewers and cook another 2 minutes, repeat 2 more times for a total of 6 minutes. 

STEP 5:

Drizzle the remaining glaze over the grilled Brussels and serve right away! The perfect summertime side dish that's sure to please!
